FAMILY
Bill Anderson’s story is inseparable from Concord. He and his siblings lived their entire lives in the town as did their parents, Leslie and Esther. Further, his mother’s line, the Wheelers, go back to the sixteen hundreds in Concord. This website is one way of keeping the family story alive for future generations just as Bill’s mother had in her lifetime with tales of her relatives.
Bill’s wife, Mary, has a fascinating family story in its own right. With roots in China, Canada and many moves, it is a contrast to the grounded nature of the Andersons and Wheelers.
While ancestors are presented in brief sketches, “LINKS” at the bottom of the page connect to more photographs, documents or related pages within the website or online. The Concord Library Special Collections houses a great deal of material about the Anderson Wheeler family and is the source for many of the links in this website.
